Celebrating the life of your loved one
Planning a funeral can be an extremely emotional experience where often families are left to organise the process in a short period of time when simultaneously dealing with the grief and loss that comes at such a difficult period. You can choose to have a service that is as traditional or as modern and unique as you wish. It can adhere to your religious or cultural requirements or cater to your specific requests.
Logan Funerals provide assistance with important information about planning a funeral, including the type of service you desire, a fitting floral tribute, audio and webcasting, press notices and order of service brochures, choosing an appropriate coffin and after-service catering if requested.
If Logan Funerals is able to make it somewhat easier organising a funeral for your loved one, it would have fulfilled its purpose. Our goal is to help you make the funeral everything you would want it to be, in order to honour and pay tribute to your loved one by enabling you to explore the many possibilities and choices that are available.

Logan Funerals is a family owned company with state of the art facilities in Narrabri, Moree and Goondiwindi, combining a long tradition of funeral leadership coupled with innovation to make the process of organising a funeral as easy, transparent and personal as possible. They have been helping the community since 1901 in Narrabri, 1927 in Moree and 1984 in Goondiwindi.
They are very proud to announce that due to their high standard of premises and operations in all three towns, they have been approved to join Australia’s elite funeral organisation- the AFDA. (Australian Funeral Directors Association).
The AFDA is widely recognised as the authoritative voice on all funeral matters and its key objective is to optimise the funeral experience and ensure quality of service to the wider community by enhancing and promoting professional funeral standards.

Logan Funerals are also members of the NSW FDA (Funeral Directors Association) and, because they own a crematorium in Narrabri, they have applied for membership of the ACCC (Australian Cemeteries and Cremetoria Association). Membership of these three groups gives confidence to grieving families that their loved ones are in safe, caring and professional hands.
Planning a funeral can be an extremely emotional experience where families are left to organise their loved one’s funeral in a short period of time whilst simultaneously experiencing a deep sense of grief and loss. During their time of need, Logan Funerals are there to help carry out your wishes in a dignified fashion, and support and guide you, every step of the way. Just as every person is different so, too, is every funeral. The total cost will depend on the arrangements the family desire. An estimate will be given by Logan Funerals to your family before the funeral to ensure you aware of the costs involved.
Logan Funerals are the only funeral directors in Narrabri, Moree and Goondiwindi that offer the full range of services, and keep your loved ones close, by being the only ones to have modern mortuaries located within the three towns.
They endeavour to employ staff who are members of the local community, and they are available to help 24 hours a day. They can advise you on prepaying for your funeral through the use of funeral bonds, where your money is kept by a reputable, unrelated business, where interest is credited to the account until the money is needed. This takes away the worry about financing a funeral. Any money left over is returned to the deceased’s estate.
History of Logan & Co
The Logan family arrived from Kirkcudbright, Scotland in 1888. John Logan, a cabinet maker by trade, began the Logan & Co Furniture business in Narrabri around 1888. He built many furniture items for local businesses, including bars and staircases. He also began a funeral service business in 1901, just before his unfortunate death at the young age of 49. John’s son Henry Logan, who later became a well- respected Shire Councillor, creative sign writer, violinist and Kaputar explorer, took on the management of the business in 1902 at 22 years. In the back of the Narrabri furniture store Henry also had a joinery works with the machinery driven by steam engine where they manufactured their own coffins to use in the funeral business. The last dozen coffins were manufactured in 1984. Two of Henry’s eight children carried on the family business, (Robert and Harry Logan) whilst also expanding it, too. Currently there are six businesses being operated by Logan & Co Pty Ltd under the banners of Logan & Co Furniture and Bedding, Bi-Rite Electrical Appliances and Logan Funerals.
